Ralphie the Dog needs a home
Hi! My name is Ralphie. I am a 7 year old lab mix. I don't know about you but I love to spend my time relaxing! I enjoy laying in the sun and snuggling up to my foster parents on the couch. I enjoy lots of naps!
I get along well with my foster sister, Maggie. She really loves to play ball, she has a lot of energy and I am okay with that. My foster mom will throw a ball for each of us. I prefer to chase the ball just a few times then trot around the yard and check everything out. My foster mom laughs because I do a perimeter check of the yard every time I go out. I want to make sure everyone is safe!
My previous family took good care of me. I can sit, stay, shake, lay down and drop it/leave it. My foster mom is working really hard with me to make sure I don't sneak any people food. She's got me on a strict diet to try and loose a few pounds. I really love my treats! My foster mom says I do pretty good on the leash, however a harness may help me pull less. I really enjoy slow walks around the neighborhood just make sure you let me smell everything I can!
I really enjoy chewing on bones, especially the hooves.I currently live with two cats. I hardly even notice they are around. Every once in awhile I will sniff the kitties but they don' t bother me. So if you happen to have cats, we will become good friends.
